RecallBite stores voluntarily submitted email alert preferences and consent records, but it does not yet send recall emails or run production advertising.
Privacy
Collect less, explain clearly, and give people control.
Public recall search does not require an account. Personal data is requested only when a feature needs it.
Email safeguards
Preferences remain pending until a delivery provider, address verification and one-click unsubscribe controls are activated. Email addresses are normalized and indexed through a one-way hash for deduplication.
Regional preference
A minimal browser preference may later remember an explicit UK, USA or All choice; a user’s explicit selection will override any location estimate.
Analytics and advertising
The managed hosting analytics script may record aggregate page usage. No AdSense code is active; any future advertising or consent service will be named here before activation.
